Our Specialized Response Fleet
Federal Fire Station 16 maintains a versatile fleet of emergency apparatus, engineered for rapid response and maximum effectiveness across a wide range of incidents within the 32nd Street Naval Base and surrounding areas.
Engine 16
Primary structural firefighting apparatus. Features a high-capacity pump, extensive hose load, and advanced forcible entry tools for rapid intervention in building and facility fires.
Medic 96
Advanced Life Support (ALS) unit staffed by certified Firefighter/Paramedics. Equipped with cardiac monitors, medication, and trauma gear to provide critical care on scene and during transport.
Brush 16
Specialized wildland fire engine. Designed for off-road capability with a high-pressure pump system to combat vegetation fires in the challenging terrain surrounding the naval base.

- Engine 161: Reserve pumper for major incidents or when Engine 16 is committed.
